On international trading,quotation is seller according to buyer's enquiry,based on analyzing of own products,profit,market competitive to quote feasible price.
1.The preparation for Quotation,
*Analyze the actual needs from customer
*Do market research,definitely know the market dynamic
*Do communicate with customer to know the extra costing condition,such as test,package,insurance,etc
2.Calculation for costing
*We usually do FOB,CFR,CIF three price format,so while do costing,we need to clearly know basis of cost, profit,expense firstly, then aggregated from each portion.
3.Costing sheet:
*It is better to use PDF format to do cosing sheet.
*Costing sheet should follow different products specification,styles,do applicable sheeets,
4.Forward to customer
*You could forward your costing sheet through e-mail or letter to customer.
